About the event
A Dual Approach: Fiona (Health Psychologist) + BeiShen (Yoga Teacher)
Fiona Batchelor – Health Psychologist – will discuss how to recognise acute stress and chronic stress. She will outline the upside of stress and the downside of stress. She will discuss the relationship between genetics, lifestyle and stress. Negotiating ongoing stressors such as dealing with work stress, relationship difficulties, divorce, dealing with ageing parents, coping with difficult teens/ offspring, moving house - all can be challenging. These can be more difficult if you are also coping with physical illness, chronic pain, menopause, anxiety/ depression, ADHD, or other issues. This workshop aims to assist in your understanding of how to process emotions, and how to use evidence-based coping strategies to maintain your equilibrium and perspective.
Fiona will end the session with a mind/body relaxation.
